Stray bra, Beginnning Burlesque class

As one of the first burlesque companies in Chicago, Girlie-Q has a long history of teaching new burlesque performers how to do what we do in a collegial, professional atmosphere.  No Jenny-come-latelies, we have been performing and teaching for nearly a decade.

We’re currently offering three different burlesque classes, with skills ranging from novice level to present performers in the Chicago burlesque scene who want to add skills and polish to their acts.  Our two primary teachers, Ms. Bea Haven and Cruel Valentine, are seasoned experts who perform regularly within the Chicago burlesque scene and throughout the country.  Our workshop leaders are past and present Girlie-Q ensemble members and featured guests who have expertise in a wide variety of skills and want to help others learn what they know.
