A Chicago-based burlesque, performance and video artist, producer and teacher, Ms. Bea has performed her hilarious, smart and edgy burlesque acts with nearly every burlesque & performance art outfit in town and regularly performs in festivals throughout the country. Ms Bea packs her queer-positive, woman-positive, body-type-inclusive messages into a sexy performance art shows and pieces that are beloved by queer and straight audiences alike. She has been a featured performer in the Rhinoceros Festival, Mondo Homo Festival, PAC/Edge festival, Ladyfest Midwest, Ladyfest Philly, Beast Women, the Twisted Tassel Festival, Hot and Heavy Burlesque, Varietease Cabaret, Eve’s Parlor’s Elysian Ball, Star and Garter, High Voltage Burlesque, Heartless B!tch, Gurlesque Burlesque, Red Hot Dames and many others. No Jenny-Come-Lately, she is among a very small group of Chicago burlesque performers with a long and solid resume stretching back nearly a decade. She holds an MFA in performance and video/new media from Columbia College Chicago.
